Smashing up the house...

What do you do with your gingerbread houses? Here's something fun to make into a New Years day tradition for your family. We spread out a tablecloth on the floor, say one last word about our houses, grab some tools and start smashing!

The kids absolutely go nuts and love the crazy destruction. It is almost as fun as building them in the first place, but goes much quicker.

Aidan attacked his house with an icicle, a screwdriver and a Bob the Builder hammer.

The kids eat a few pieces, then we feed the remaining smashed up parts to the chickens so they can make the sweetest eggs ever!
