Every girl needs a good friend with a great farm kitchen to hang out in. Gather around a farm kitchen table, sip coffee, laugh, cry and share life stories.
Today, I visited a dear friend of mine to do some work together on her property. We do a work swap at each other’s places. It was my turn to help her trim bows of evergreen branches to cover her tender plants from the upcoming inevitable cold snap.
Before heading out with our saws and strength, we spent some cherished time catching up on life in her lovely farm kitchen over a cup of hot coffee and warm rice pudding.
I could’t resist capturing some of her sweet attention to country kitchen detail.There is a tender spot in my heart for farm kitchens.
Every farm kitchen must have a chicken somewhere.
